Alice has scarcely dreamed of entering Wonderland when she runs into a little duck who, deeply disappointed, wants to leave Wonderland. She has been annoyed by the snooty flamingos who she thinks treat her badly. Alice tries to help the duckling, but instead puts it in great danger, because of all people she entrusts the duckling to the duchess's treacherous swan, who promptly delivers it to the castle kitchen, where it is locked in a cage. With the help of the not-so-snooty flamingo, Alice manages to free the duckling.
