Alice meets Don Fernando and learns from him that he is on his way to the Diamond Castle to ask the Diamond Queen for her daughter's hand. Since Don Fernando is not the only one who feels the desire to marry the immensely rich diamond princess, all suitors are asked to participate in a jousting tournament. The one who emerges victorious gets the diamond princess as his wife. Don Fernando is quite sure he will win, but he's unlucky. He has to face off against a mysterious red knight who is not only much younger but also much more skilled than he is.
