When Kōhei comes down with a fever, Tsumugi leaves the house on her own and goes on an adventure, facing all sorts of imaginary perils as she makes her way to Kotori's restaurant. Although Tsumugi manages to avoid crying the entire time, she goes into a tantrum when Kōhei scolds her for leaving the house without telling anyone. After the two calm and apologize to each other, Kotori, having inadvertently burnt some rice, uses what's left to make gohei mochi.
