Jake is competing for student body president against a new exchange student, Nigel Thrall, after being embarrassed by him at the skate park. The next day, Nigel is defeating Jake so far in the elections so Jake decides to sneak into Nigel's campaign headquarters after class. There, he discovers that Nigel is a wizard, and Nigel discovers that he is a dragon. Soon takes an unexpected turn when Jake uses a magical helmet back in the Roman Empire to read the minds of his constituents, without knowing that Maximinus, an Ogre who used the helmet to read peoples mind is looking for the helmet. And they have to work together to defeat Maximinus, while Spud & Trixie try to distract the school by say their ideas. At the end, Jake & Nigel made up and will support whoever wins but unexpectedly, Spud & Trixie wins and will became the new student body president.
