Aquaman easily takes back Atlantis from Ocean Master and interrogates Mortikov but the latter doesn't talk and is thrown in jail.Aquaman learns from Vulko that the crystal can slow down time so a year would feel like a day, despite being king again most of the people still believe Aquaman isn't worthy of being king. Aquaman realizes Ocean Master is gone and took his trident. He and Mera find Ocean Master mocking Aquaman, angered and humiliated Aquaman and Mera pursue Ocean Master throughout the city the two catch him and take back the trident as they're about to leave Aquaman sees a glowing object, Mera advises him to leave it be Aquaman ignores her and touches it the object turns out to be a robotic fishing hook and snags Aquaman and Ocean Master but while Aquaman escapes Ocean Master is captured by the fisherman and is taken away...
