After Arthur and Buster follow him outside of class, they learn that while he is a tough teacher, he does have a soft side. Arthur's Spelling Trouble: Arthur practices for the school spelling bee and competes against Prunella, the previous champion, and Brain, the smartest kid in his class. After some initial fear, Arthur wins the bee.
