I Want to Backflip!.A middle schooler in baseball club, Shōtarō Futaba chances upon a group of boys holding a headstand. Following them into a gym, he encounters Men's Rhythmic Gymnastic club for the first time at a tournament running there and becomes a fan of the backflips performed by the athletes from Sōshūkan High School. He later decides to join the school. Though initially nervous since the genius Ryōya Misato announces that he will join the club, he later announces that he wants to join the club himself after performing the first backflip of his life. The other members are ecstatic as they are finally numbering six now.
