As she returns to the inn, Ruti experiences a sudden spell of sickness, compelling her to look for a set of elven ruins rumored to be in the area to serve as a secet laboratory for making the Demon's Blessing. Bui is revealed to be responsible for the recent magic drainage in the area through the use of an enchanted crystal heart.
