Cricket and Remy start a campaign to get Phoenix elected as mayor, after another dog named Beans proves to be well liked. Meanwhile, Nancy and Tilly fix a road full of pot holes and despite the hard work, get help in the end. Cricket resorts to lying and cheating and while he wins at first, is suddenly outed. He later admits that he no longer cares what other people think of Phoenix as he loves his dog the way she is.
