While watching a deadly baseball game, Michiru's powers catch the attention of the Bears team, helping them win their match as their pitcher. Having fun for the first time since becoming a beastman or arriving in the city, Michiru continues to play with them, unaware that their coach, Dante, has been gambling on them losing. Shirou discovers that Dante was the first beastman to play professional baseball, but he'd ultimately been removed from the game after violently lashing out at his bigoted hecklers and teammates. During a finals match, where the team is being bribed to lose, an incident in which Dante attempts to steal all the gambled money for himself leads to the crowd getting angry once they discover their money has been taken...
