The conclusion of the series has all of the Saints' intended roles revealed by the Lears—with Shandala as the catalyst, a worldwide broadcast of fear would be sent out. The Saints were to be the first disciples in the new world order, but it is quickly seen that the meeting would not be one of joy. As Raimi attempts to change or delete the images of suffering that a crucified Shandala is being fed, Oran and Gabriel battle.
