In an attempt to combat the massive casualties, army forms a special unit Wyvern, made of former Japanese citizens, Elevens, recruited to pilot Knightmare frames into deadly operations. Among those selected is Lieutenant Akito Hyuuga, known as Hannibal's Ghost due to his prowess on the battlefield.
