The years passed. Dartham and Juliet have two children. A messenger gives each Musketeer a letter asking them to go to an inn, where they are reunited with the queen and Pom. The queen tells them that something strange is happening at court and needs her help. Along the way, they are attacked by bandits at the behest of the king's half-brother and the queen's life is at risk, but they arrive safe and sound in Paris. The guards inform Richeleão of what happened. Perplexed, he suspects that something is happening.
