Shobu has his Wednesday night dream of a duel against Hakuoh again. With Mimi, it's slowly becoming clear that she's capable of more than just making superficial comments. She seems to work for multiple sites. It's not entirely clear which side she's on, but at least it's known now that she's in contact with the Master and taking orders from him. The Master now wants Shobu to face little Kintaro. Although Shobu's friends disagree, they decide to go to the temple so Shobu can finally face off against Hakuoh. They consider this venture dangerous and don't want anything to happen to Shobu. When they arrive at the temple, they meet Kintaro, a little kid who talks a lot and carries strange objects with him. To get into the temple, Shobu has to play against him and win. No sooner said than done, Shobu and Kintaro get ready for a duel. Meanwhile, Knight makes his way to Shobu. He knows about the Master's plan and wants to warn Shobu. At the same time, Mimi gets a new command from the master. She's supposed to make sure that Knight can't get to Shobu until the end of the duel. Disguised as a guard, she stands in Knight's path and doesn't let him pass. He tries to convince her that not telling Shobu about the situation is wrong. And if she feels the slightest bit about Shobu, she should let him pass. Mimi has doubts, but in the end she lets him continue. Knight appears just in time and prevents the worst. He wants Shobu to call off the duel, but as always, he doesn't listen. He insists on stopping the duel. Once Shobu starts a match, nothing can stop him.
