As she remains uneasy, she sees her mother, Chiharu, who shows her some origami Yayoi had made for Father's Day, which he kept as important treasure. A livid Wolfrun suddenly appears after being upset from the hurtful meaning of his own name, creating a fox-like Akanbee form of her origami. Although she struggles in her fight, Yayoi eventually sees the origin of her name from her memories of her father.
