Wendy and Joshua spend countless hours researching about outer space. The protagonists convince Ray to use Vulcan as an engine to fuel enough energy to launch. Wendy overhears Priscilla confesses her feelings to Van. It is revealed that Ray is slowly losing his eyesight, as Van gradually becomes weak. Van is soon launched into the sky and targets the satellite base of Diablo of Monday.
