Holding the hilt, Towa uses her power to convert the remains into a laser blade and damage Mistress Three-Eyes. Setsuna finishes her off, and she and Moroha recover the pearls. While Moroha keeps Mistress Three-Eyes' skull, Towa tries to reacquaint with Setsuna, but she ignores her. Moroha deduces they are the daughters of Sesshōmaru, but neither of them know who they are. In the past, Kaede tells Hisui and Kohaku that Setsuna is one of Sesshömaru's twin daughters. They found the roots around the Sacred Tree of Ages, and deduce Setsuna and Moroha were sent to the distant future of Kagome's era. A minor demon called Hitökon possesses Towa and has her attack Setsuna...
