Meanwhile, the girls get together at Shino's house to make sweets for an afternoon tea party, though all manner of problems put them off their 'afternoon' schedule. Later, as Shinobu's class work on making some happis, Akari receives encouragement from the friendly Karen, managing to give off a sincere smile.
