Umaru and Taihei use Takeshi's camera. With the arcade closed, Umaru and Sylphynford start hanging out an old-fashioned department store, only for it to end up being closed and torn down to build an amusement park. Later, Nana tries to get closer to Taihei by helping him cook, while Umaru tries to hide that she does not know how to cook herself. Afterwards, as Umaru and Hikari remain hostile towards each other, Taihei tries to have them make pancakes together so they can get along. Umaru worries that she is causing the hamsters stress and keeps them quiet, but finds out they are playing with her.
