Kenshiro hears rumors that one of his other Hokuto Shinken brothers, Toki, a once-benevolent healer, is now using his skills to experiment on people and create monsters in the Village of Miracles. On his way, he is attacked by three beast-men whom he defeats, the last telling him that it was Toki who made him that way. Meanwhile, Lin leaves the village to find Ken and becomes lost in a sandstorm. Bat, Rei and Mamiya leave to search for her.
