Having fully healed their arm, Pitou gives Gon their condolences before expressing their intent to kill him for King. But Gon, willing to sacrifice everything to avenge Kite, assumes an adult-like form to fight Pitou who realized the boy is using up all of his potential as a Nen user to kill them at the cost of his own life. Upon knowing that his friend is in a predicament, Killua rushes to his aid, arriving just to see a hopeless Gon utterly destroying Pitou's head and then the body when it reanimates and rips his arm off, Gon Finishes off Pitou before seemingly dying in a nen explosion.
