Angelo uses a water pipe to get Aqua Necklace into the house so it can kill Josuke's mother Tomoko. Josuke extracts Aqua Necklace from Tomoko's body with Crazy Diamond and traps it inside a bottle. Angelo disguises Aqua Necklace as Cognac and kills Josuke's grandfather Ryohei—the man that arrested Angelo—who drinks from the bottle. Though Josuke uses Crazy Diamond to restore Ryohei's body, he cannot bring him back from the dead. Josuke and Jotaro wait out Angelo at Josuke's house for three days before realizing that he was biding his time until a rainy day. The two are overwhelmed by Aqua Necklace freely moving through puddles and steam until Josuke tricks it into entering a rubber glove he secretly swallowed. Upon finding Angelo, Josuke uses Crazy Diamond to fuse Angelo into a nearby rock.
