A flashback to years earlier, shows Janome's experiments into immortality on unwilling prisoners using venom-based drugs. Yoshio, one of the inmates, kills himself with a piece of stolen glass, but his friend Iori uses the glass to kill 38 fellow prisoners and 14 guards and escape.
