NUNS command prepares to destroy Ragna's Protoculture ruins to prevent them from falling into enemy hands, though this could devastate the planet. This action is delayed while Chaos launches the Macross Elysion to commence Operation Einherjar (オペレーション・エインヘリャル, Operēshon Einheryaru) and confront the Windermere forces before Heinz has time to recover.
