The band wants to know more about the band's finances and hire a second business manager, who immediately sets his sights on taking Ofdensen's job as sole business manager of the band, leading to a fencing duel to the death between the two men. Ofdensen forces the other manager off the top of a building onto a railroad, where he is run over by a train.
