While under anesthesia, Julia is guided through an alternate universe by Ava (guest star Famke Janssen) and is shown how her life would be if she married Christian after college instead of Sean. Finding herself attracted to the alternate Sean just like she is to Christian in the real world, Julia finally comes to terms with what she really wants from life.
