Zack's cousin Curtis is set to play in a jazz festival and Zack offers to lend him a special horn. The concert goes great until a Putty steals the trumpet and Zedd creates the terrifying Trumpet Top monster. He brings with him a menacing menagerie of monsters to overwhelm the Rangers. Fortunately Alpha is able to discern Trumpet Top's secret powers in hallucination to help the Rangers overcome him.
