Alya and Marinette discover that the kwagatama can be used to summon the memories of previous Miraculous holders. She decides to contact Joan of Arc, who in the past was the superhero "Scarlet Fate", in order to ask about her romance with "Dark Grimalkin", an English Cat Miraculous holder which upset their respective rulers. Meanwhile, Jalil is upset over the absence of his sister, believing Ladybug is a villain for hiding her. He chooses to be akumatized back into the Pharaoh, this time with the Turtle Miraculous' power of Protection and the ability to create walls with Maat's Book of Truth which can only be opened by answering trivia questions, trapping those who answer incorrectly in it's pages. Ladybug asks Jalil to confirm her true intentions with the book. Realizing the truth, he voluntarily de-akumatizes himself upon stating that Monarch lied to him. Later, Plagg gives Adrien his own kwagatama.
