His illegitimate daughter Ryo recalls how her father became an assassin for the Shogunate to elevate his status. Hanabusa Ugen is appointed to Kagimura's former position and meets Anotsu, giving the Ittö-ryü seven days to leave Edo or be eliminated. Anotsu surprisingly agrees.
