Kai-Lan breaks her own dinosaur balloon by accident, the reason being she was dancing about how much she loved dinosaurs. Stompy doesn't bother to help her out because it was not his fault that the balloon broke. It is up to Kai-Lan to convince Stompy that helping others is part of being a good friend.
