Cobo finds another puppet body which the fake Victor the Dismantler is now using. He then takes Mary hostage and attempts to force the Dismantler to lead him to Victor's real body. Angered at Cobo's actions, Juzo activates his regenerative combat mode, which replaces his lost arms. Juzo and the Dismantler join forces to knock out Cobo, releasing Mary. Juzo then leaves to hold off EMS reinforcements giving Mary a chance to talk privately to the Dismantler. Mary tells him that she has realized he was born from Victor's hubris in the belief that his extensions improved humanity, when they only enabled humans to realize their own potential. The Dismantler then takes his leave, assuring Mary that Tetsuro will be safe with Spitzbergen...
