The Straw Hats along with Law, Bellamy, Kin'emon and Kanjuro retreat to Kyros's house to rest and recover. Sabo arrives soon after to see Luffy and everyone except Robin are shocked to know he is Luffy's brother. Sabo reveals CP-0 is searching for the revolutionaries and they have to leave soon, advising the Straw Hats to also leave soon. Sabo then tells the crew of his past with Luffy and Ace and also what happened to him after he was presumed dead. He recalls the time he first met Dragon, and how he felt trapped by the nobility system on Goa Kingdom, and his disgust towards them for when they burned down Grey Terminal. Feeling trapped, Sabo decided to set out to sea, but encountered a ship much larger than his small vessel. The large ship contained the World Noble Jalmack, who shot Sabo's ship with a bazooka due to it crossing his path. He was rescued by Dragon, who brought him to his ship for medical treatment. When Sabo awoke he'd lost all of his memories, only knowing his name due to it being on his possessions. When the revolutionaries suggest taking him back to his family, Sabo refuses, having a bad feeling about his family despite not remembering them. Sabo joined the Revolutionary Army, and though he couldn't remember his past Sabo had a lot of fighting experience which his body still remembered and eventually raised up the ranks. The Dressrosa palace has begun repair works and the Corrida Colosseum fighters are resting there. Bartolomeo then locks up Cavendish in a chain, telling everyone they will see a monster if they don't lock him up. After telling the crew his story, Franky asks how he get back his memories to which Sabo replies Ace's death awakened his memory.
