Wirt and Beatrice come across a school full of animal students being taught by a human teacher, Miss Langtree. She mistakes them for students and tells them to join the class, which Wirt does. Meanwhile, Greg and some of his new-found animal friends are chased by a gorilla and they hide in the school. Greg cheers everyone up by adding molasses to the potatoes that they're having for lunch. The next day, a benefit concert is organised for the school, which earns enough money to keep it open. Wirt trips over the gorilla, revealing that it was Miss Langtree's missing fiancé, Jimmy Brown, stuck in a costume.
