Dances with Ignorance: While researching her family heritage, Pepper Ann finds out from her father that she's 1/16 Navajo Indian, but Pepper Ann's stereotypical views of American Indian culture cause her to offend the Navajo family she invited to dinner. Girl Power: Moose's favorite comic book "Tundra Woman" gets adapted into a Saturday morning cartoon, but when Tundra Woman is turned into a shallow, shopaholic girly-girl, Moose, Janie, and Lydia protest.
