While cutting through a mountain pass, Ash and friends decide to stop into the local Pokémon Center for directions. Imagine their surprise when they discover it vacated, with no sign of Nurse Joy. The plot thickens when they take it upon themselves to investigate and discover security camera footage of a Shriftry immobilizing Joy with Stun Spore before carrying her off. Their only clue as to Joy’s location is a mysterious entry on Shriftry in the Pokédex, indicating that these Pokémon inhabit only trees that are over 1000 years old.
