Lala witnesses lots of fans about to attend a performance by a popular idol called Sophy Hojo. Afterwards, Lala decides she wants to enter the Shining Future Idol Grand Prix but Mirei says they need another team member. The head guard Sadako tells them they are not worthy of speaking to Sophy and leave with her. Lala attempts to talk to Sophy again outside of Pripara, but still meets resistance from the Royal Guard.
