The flooding of the ballroom has bad consequences for Sissi. During a ride, she falls off the horse exhausted and has to go to bed seriously ill. Arkas also gets a high fever. A traveling doctor heals him with a mysterious medicine. When Arkas wakes up from his feverish dream, he can't believe his eyes: the doctor looks like Prince Franz! Arkas hatches an evil plan. Franz brings Sissi to Vienna to be examined by specialists. He doesn't want to postpone the wedding again. But none of the doctors can help Sissi. There seems to be no rescue left for her.
