CreationWinter frees Marrow to help Qrow and Robin intercept the bomb, subduing the Ace-Ops. Emerald distracts Ironwood with her Semblance to help Jaune's team, Oscar and Winter defeat him. Team RWBY and Penny reach the vault and request the Staff's guardian, Ambrosius, make Penny human to save her from the virus - causing the staff to release the floating city of Atlas, which starts to collapse onto Mantle. To evacuate the citizens, Team RWBY asks Ambrosius to create inter-dimensional doors linking the two cities to Vacuo, unaware that Cinder is in the crowd.
