Arriving at the broadcasting room, Yuki is cornered by zombies but is saved by Tarōmaru, who had instinctively come to her rescue. Realising that the zombies still retain their residual memories, Yuki manages to send all the zombie students away by telling them to go home, allowing Miki to deliver the antidote. Although the antidote manages to cure Kurumi of her condition, Tarōmaru is left weak from being infected for so long and dies in Miki's arms...
