Meanwhile, a creature called the Dreamweaver starts haunting people's dreams, hypnotizing them into giving up possessions nearest their hearts. In an effort to stop him, the gang teams up with Sheriff Stone, who, like those who have been attacked by the Dreamweaver, is a closeted Crypts and Creatures enthusiast, having invented the Dreamweaver in his youth.
