Ryo receives a letter from Ine that was addressed to his father and arrived shortly after his death, sent by a man known as Yuanda Zhu. Ryo realizes that the text is written in Chinese and asks some native citizens if they can read it, but to no avail. Nozomi chimes in and offers to help him find someone who can read the letter, but her attempts are unsuccessful. Ryo visits the Heartbeats Bar in Dobuita and gets in a scuffle with the men there. He promises the barkeep that he'll never return in exchange for information regarding the Chinese Mafia...
