Karim and Sherazade need an experienced captain for their voyage to Wak-Wak Island. Only the magic lamp Zumurrud can tell them who this captain is. So they go back to the Crystal Palace to seek out Aladdin and his lamp. Aladdin is leaving the palace just after an argument with Princess Jinan. He leaves his lamp behind. Dunyazad exchanges a new worthless lamp for Aladdin's Magic Lamp.
