Willard checks out the weapons manufacturer Alma Corporation and finds they plan a military exercise in Shizuoka to test a new weapon for Major General Kakizaki, chief of the Weapons Department. At the Vampire headquarters, Yevgraf fails to convince the Vampire hierarchy that it is worth finding the Arc of Sirius. Momosei Naotora leads the Hyakko Party on a raid on the Alma offices searching for Kershner, killing all the staff, but finds that they are humans, not Vampires...
