Emília realizes that she doesn't have her own toys, and asks Dona Benta for help so that her grandchildren share some of theirs. Pedrinho and Narizinho, begrudgingly, end up giving the doll only a box of stamps. Annoyed at being ignored, Emília decides to take possession of everything that is marked by the stamps, and starts marking the whole place with her name.
