To cure Spyro of his darkness, the Skylanders will have to go on a dangerous mission to find the venom of a Fire Viper. They narrowly succeed with help from Hugo and give the serum to him. The potion works, curing Spyro by dividing him into both his light self and his dark self. Spyro and Dark Spyro fight in the skies above the academy with Spyro narrowly winning with a huge explosion, seemingly killing his evil double. Meanwhile, Strykore clones an army of Glumshanks and sends Kaos into an underwater cell after he brings him the map to Arkus.
