Yuji, Megumi and Satoru pick up the third first-year student Nobara Kugisaki. Satoru brings them to an abandoned building near a cemetery that is occupied by Curses as a field test for Nobara. Yuji and Nobara enter the building and split up to search for the Curse. Yuji easily defeats a Curse downstairs while Nobara takes out another one upstairs, and discovers a boy hiding. Another Curse holds him hostage, and Nobara surrenders in an attempt to save him. Yuji is able to rescue Nobara and the boy by smashing through the wall behind it and cutting one of its arms off. As the Curse attempts to flee, Nobara finishes it off with her Straw Doll technique...
