It's Sunday and Johnson is bored and penniless. Ben, his faulty but cheap robot suggests he see a ‘Trip Movie', a system that projects stories into the client's brain. He dreams of his former life before his identity change as an independent space pirate who refused to join the Pirate Guild, and thus became their nemesis with a price on his head. Afterwards, in a good mood he goes to a casino and surprisingly wins at roulette. He is invited to meet the casino's director who he recognizes as Pirate Guild Vaiken whose eye he shot out five years ago as Cobra. However he now calls himself Jack Chris...
