Kaz and Torra independently join the hunt, but the beast is immune to their fire. Two of the pirates are knocked to the surface, forcing Kragan and Synara to retreat in their sail barge. Later, Kaz and Torra return to the cold planet and land in an attempt to fire on the jakoosk from below...
