Static reluctantly teams up with a retired electricity-manipulating/controlling superhero from the sixties, Soul Power, to defeat an old-time villain, Professor Menace. Static does not see eye-to-eye with Soul Power's methods, or his outdated campy style. But they got along and become allies and Static helps him take down Professor Menace. Soul Power officially retired and leaves the superhero to protect Dakota to Static.
