When Richard learns of Granny Jojo's plans to marry Louie (whom she has been dating since season 3's "The Man"), he decides to keep Louie from being his stepfather by adopting him as one of the kids. Things get stickier when Louie tricks Nicole into being adopted as his daughter and Richard's estranged, biological father, a rat named Frankie, returns to trick Richard into signing over the house to him.
